The National Art Honor Society and Art Club at Marriotts Ridge High School will host a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on Sunday, November 23rd, 2014 from 1:30-2:30 p.m., in the school commons area. The Tea Party will be hosted prior to the Marriotts Ridge High School matinee production of Alice in Wonderland.
Mad Hatter’s Tea Party tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance. Ticket holders will receive a hand-made tea cup, homemade sweet and savory treats made by both the National Arts Honor Society and the schools’ Culinary Arts Department, and a choice of freshly brewed herbal and black teas. Only 75 tickets will be sold. Tea cup selection is in order of ticket purchase. Reservations are required. No tickets will be sold at the door. All proceeds benefit Grassroots, Howard County’s only 24-hour crisis intervention center and homeless shelter.
