Mission BBQ Blue Cup Sale Honors First Responders

Grassroots receives $4,489 from sale at Columbia Crossing store

Mission BBQ restaurant held its Hometown Heroes Cups sale this past Spring at the Columbia Crossing store. Their Blue Cups honor soldiers, firefighters, police officers and other first responders and were available for sale. With every purchase, $2 was set aside to support the Howard County FOP Benevolent Fund, The Fire Brigade Pipes and Drums of Greater Baltimore, and Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center. The sale generated $4,489 for Grassroots.

Grassroots partners with the Howard County Police Department as a member of the Mobile Crisis Team which responds to community emergencies, such as traumatic death, domestic violence and cases where an individual is a danger to himself or others.

Mission BBQ is located at 6270 Columbia Crossing Circle.
