QPR — Suicide Prevention Training

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — 3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. QPR is a basic suicide prevention gatekeeper training designed for individuals who do not have training/experience in suicide intervention.

When:    September 18, 2018 — 6:30 to 8:00 pm

Where:  Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center – 6700 Freetown Rd, Columbia, MD 21044

Cost: Free for Howard County Residents and employees, $3 for  non-residents
